Wim Van LaerandGitHub 99ad1ea83d test: added checks for timestamps in passkey test (#12003)
# Which Problems Are Solved

A test was failing because of timezone flakiness

# How the Problems Are Solved

The actual problem was an `updatedAt` field was not filled in because of
the `createdAt` was missing on an event. This caused a zero value to be
filled in into the `updatedAt` field. Postgres then stored this value
with seconds in it's timezone info, which go could not store.

By adding filling in the `createdAt` field, this does not occur.

b145f1c85a docs: added documentation for jwt idp regarding callback uris (#11925)
# Which Problems Are Solved

The documentation did not reflect the difference between login v1 and v2
for configuring a JWT-idp

# How the Problems Are Solved

Added a warning in the docs which highlight that difference.

# Additional Changes

- Restructured the docs to reflect a more generic approach.
- Fixed indentation inside the `<Callout type="warning">` block so the
content renders as formatted text instead of a code block.
- Fixed inconsistent acronym casing in the use-case section: "jwt" →
"JWT" and "idp" → "IdP" to match the rest of the page and UI terms.

# Additional Context

- Closes: #11589

70adaff793 feat: add option to use x.509 certificate system-api-user tokens (#11876)
# Which Problems Are Solved

System API users currently authenticate using raw RSA public keys
configured via Path or KeyData. This approach doesn't integrate well
with Kubernetes tooling.

# How the Problems Are Solved

Allow for the `path`/`keyData` to be an X.509 certificate.

The `NotBefore` and `NotAfter` fields of the certificate are beeing
respected when validating the JWT.

ca6bd9d6a2 fix: added login_hint to the idp intent (#11552)
# Which Problems Are Solved

In login V2, when the user started the login flow of an external IDP,
there was no login_hint passed to the external provider. This required
the user to enter their username again. Whilst they already entered it
in Zitadel. By adding the `login_hint` parameter, the username should
already be filled in on the external idp.

# How the Problems Are Solved

Pass the `login_hint` parameter to the external idp.

# Additional Changes

Also added the `login_hint` to the event-store for audit trailing.

Wim Van LaerandGitHub e98aa10892 fix: return auth none when no auth is configured for smtp + scopes in grpc response (#11554)
# Which Problems Are Solved

- When no auth was present on a smtp configuration, the `auth` field was
`nil` on the response while it should be `none`.
- Scopes were not properly retrieved from the database resulting in all
scopes being combined in one scope when retrieving the configuration.

# How the Problems Are Solved

- Set `auth` to `none` when no auth is configured
- Use `database.TextArray[string]` as type to get the scopes from the
database

944765f89c fix(api): honor request-provided IDs for OIDC apps (#11506)
Problem:
OIDC CreateApplication requests in both app/v2beta and application/v2
accept an ID field (id / application_id), but the OIDC creation path
dropped it, always generating a new app ID/client ID.

Changes:

Thread the request-provided ID into the OIDC domain request in both
handlers.
Update the OIDC command path to use the provided AppID when present
(fallback to generated ID when empty), mirroring API apps.
Add integration tests covering provided IDs for OIDC CreateApplication
on v2beta and v2.
Tests:

go test -count=1 -tags integration
./internal/api/grpc/app/v2beta/integration_test -run
TestCreateOIDCApplication_WithProvidedID
go test -count=1 -tags integration
./internal/api/grpc/application/v2/integration_test -run
TestCreateOIDCApplication_WithProvidedID

Wim Van LaerandGitHub 6f6f9d20f0 fix(api): make auth not required for testing smtp (#11514)
# Which Problems Are Solved

With the xoath introduction an `auth` oneof was added to the proto. This
was made because one of the authentication methods should always be
selected. This however, created a backwards compatibility issue.

# How the Problems Are Solved

Don't make `auth` required.

3fc0ef2506 feat: added xoauth for smtp (#11239)
# Which Problems Are Solved

- Some mail providers (e.g.: MS Exchange) have deprecated plain auth

# How the Problems Are Solved

Adds XOauth2 auth option to SMPT
- SMTP config now can contain XOAuth2 auth config
- Proto files are updated to have a oneof for configuration selection.
Old fields for configuring plain auth are still available not to create
a breaking change. These can be removed in the future.
- Columns are added to the database to persist the config
