## Postgres

Postgres extension is currently in beta.

|
|
If you want to use a PostgreSQL database instead of CockroachDB you can [overwrite the default configuration](../configure/configure.mdx).
|
|
|
|
Currently versions >= 14 are supported.
|
|
|
|
Postgres can be configured as follows:
