There are suggestions on how to do this using cron jobs in wsl. They are worth a look at. This article on [powershell](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/scheduledtasks/new-scheduledtask?view=windowsserver2022-ps) with windows server was also helpful.
